[13 Sep 2009|10:42pm]
All the world is a stage
And everybody plays
Just a pawn to the jester
As he sets needle upon record

A twist of his hips
a whistle from lips
the audience watches and listens
Patiently waiting in silence for quips
Tension begins to thicken

A crack too wise from whip too sharp
upon the fairest piglet
in the barn

Stop in their tracks
Swallow their laughs
As the piglet sheds a tear
She cannot speak, she cannot hear
The jester taunting in her ear

Upon departure he laughs to himself
the world must not understand his wealth
of humor and honesty, truth unseen
only a handful will agree

so he returns where he resides
begins to apologize
because that's all they want to hear
forgive him when he reappears
and shower him with all the cheers
for this is not the last time he will jest
in his palm the world still rests

9/11 [11 Sep 2009|03:52pm]
Okay so I haven't written here in a long ass time, but I wanted to write about this.

It's been 8 years since the attacks of September 11, 2001. I still remember, vividly, how everything went down. I was a freshman in high school. My mom still prepared breakfast for me and my brother. I came downstairs, and my brother told me the World Trade Center just got hit. I didn't even know what the WTC was at the time. As we were watching the playback of the first crash, the second plane crashed into the south tower. Two more planes crashed, one hitting the pentagon, and one hitting in a field. It was the most unbelievable thing I'd ever seen. There were a handful of horrific events, like the first 9/11 attack and the Oklahoma bombing, but I wasn't old enough to really understand the magnitude of the situations.

It's just crazy to think about.

ba wit da ba da bang da bang diggy diggy, diggy up the boogie said up jump the boogie - Kid Rock

Because nobody knows the names of those two fuckers that aren't will.i.am or Fergie

For the Negro that enjoys comparing his easygoing nature to the global recession

No, I don't. And don't call my Shirley.

Just now, I thought of a better idea. Wouldn't it be cool to have couples' shirts: one with YOU'RE A JERK (repeated) and the other with I KNOW (repeated)? Then again.. that'd look kinda sad

This shirt would probably be better if it had more pitbulls

And because shirts with monochromatic girls on them are popular at present. What I really wanted was a shot of Taylor bucking at the camera, but I was too lazy to find the video.

And my favorite shirt of this collection behind the cut

These are notes that I took all while travelling through London, Rome, Florence, Venice, Paris, and Greenwich. I started out by putting all the times I did stuff, but I got sick of carrying the notepad around all the time. Summer Part 5.5 [25 Jul 2009|01:50am]
7/25 - I spent the day going through my music blogs, then started to pack. I finished rather quickly because I had everything laid out on my bed room floor, already rolled up. After that, I headed out to Sean's surprise party. I didn't know a lot of people there, but the food was great and it was fun. Cyndy even came by, which is good, because I won't see her in a long while. Hai called me and apologized for not being able to come to my bbq and offered to make it up to me when I get back. At the end of the night, Chris had way too much to drink, so I drove him home. Now I gotta fill up my DS and iPod with NEW SHIT for my 11 hour plane flight. I'm so fucking excited. You know when you get so excited you feel like you gotta piss and take a shit at the same time? Well, my bowels are moving, and my urethra is loosening. Maybe I'll be able to blog here and there in Europe, but not too much. See you later!
